Boyfriend Jeans

This is the outfit I wore yesterday, which is my typical Sunday outfit.  As cute as boyfriend jeans are in the summer, I love them for the fall worn with little booties and sweaters.  They make a perfect Sunday jean not only because they have a relaxed look, but also because boyfriend jeans are typically looser in the waist making them very comfortable whether wearing them out to brunch, enjoying some football snacks, or for Sunday family dinners.  I especially love these Josefina boyfriend jeans by Seven for all Mankind (get them here or here) because they are a slim boyfriend making them not too baggy and overwhelming.  I paired them with my off-the-shoulder Feel the Piece sweater and finished the look with booties and a leather jacket.  This sweater is a little oversize, so I like to tuck in the front giving me a little more shape when paired with my already baggy jeans.

I love layering small necklaces to give a more dramatic look.  When layering necklaces make sure that they all fall at a different length.  I wear this initial necklace most every day.  It is engraved with my name and was my grandmothers (she had one for every grandchild and wore them as a charm bracelet) and was given to me after she passed.  It is special to wear something so close to the heart filling you with great memories every day.

Another slim boyfriend jean that I love is the Fling by Current Elliot. You can find it here.  Of course you can dress boyfriends jeans up too.  When I wear them while working I add a tailored blazer and a pair of pumps giving a more polished look.

Aren't the trees beautiful?  These photos were taken in my sister's back yard and I thought it would be a perfect backdrop.  Hope you all had a great weekend and have an even better week ahead.  Thanks for reading!
