Flare Bottoms

Between boho dresses, fringe, gingham, floral, and flared pants the 70's are making a big appearance this spring, and I'm excited to pull out my flare jeans!  I'll never get sick of skinny jeans, but it's nice to switch it up once in a while.  These J Brand Martini flares are one of my favorite pairs that I own (the other is the MiH Marrakesh).  When you're 5'7" and wear four inch heels, it's hard to find a flare pant that is long enough, and these jeans come with plenty of length.  The rise is also higher, which we all know I love, and find it flatters when tucking in a blouse.  I always tuck in my loose fitting tops because it balances out the wide leg, giving a more slimming look.  This blouse is also one of my favorites.  It's one of those pieces that I don't wear very often, but is always a go to when I want something a little more fun.  The leather cuffs and trim make it more of a statement piece, so I kept my jewelry simple and didn't wear any bracelets.

I lightened my hair last week.  It has been almost three years since I last colored it, and decided it was time again.  What do you think?  I'm actually going even lighter, and probably at my appointment as you read this blog.

Jeans: J Brand Martini (on sale here)// Blouse: Elizabeth and James (old but love this floral blouse here)// Boots: Zara// Bag: Chanel// Rings: House of Harlow, Melanie Auld// Necklace: Sarah Chloe

I didn't realize how I was clenching my hands in all of these photos until I was editing them!  I was so cold while taking these photos and just trying to keep my fingers warm (I have the worst circulation).  I didn't wear a jacket because I didn't want to take away from the blouse, however, I wasn't outside for long :)  Happy Thursday everyone!
