Happy Friday! This week flew by for me since Monday was a holiday, and we had the marathon here in Boston. I had my family in town until Tuesday, so my week didn't really get back to normal until Wednesday. I love weeks like that! Marathon Monday was a lot of fun, despite all the rain we got. We watched it from Commonwealth Avenue in Newton. When we first arrived, it was pouring cats and dogs, but since we were tracking my sister (who was running her first marathon) we knew she wouldn't be passing the spot we were cheering at for an hour, so we waited in the car to see if the rain would slow down. After about twenty minutes the rain let up, and it held off the whole time we were there. I'd say we got lucky! My sister did an amazing job running her first marathon. Her time was a little slower than she would of liked, but she was running on a pulled hamstring and felt it her entire run! I could never image running 26.2 miles, especially in pain! I'm so proud of her.
Today I am showing you what I wore earlier this week, sporting my two favorite colors: black and gray. Sometimes there is nothing better, or easier, than an over sized tee shirt and skinny jeans. I wore this with flats during the day, which was perfect for running errands and playing with the babies. I switch into heels and added a leather jacket to show you how you can easily, and quickly, transition this outfit for a dressier look that's perfect for meeting my girlfriends or grabbing drinks locally. I've had this fringe bag for about eight years and am so happy that I held on to it. Fringe is everywhere this season, and the easiest way to incorporate it into your outfit is with a bag. Since this bag is no longer available, I've linked some similar bags below.
Jeans: AG Stilt// Jacket: Veda// Tee: American Apparel// Shoes: Steve Madden// Bag: old (similar here, here and loving this mini one here)// Sunnies: Chloé// Ring: House of Harlow
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
Very stylish! I love so many elements of this outfit!
