And just like that, it's Monday again. I feel like time is on rapid speed lately. Is it just me, or does anyone feel the same way? How was everyone's weekend? I had a great weekend. On Friday night Mike and I headed to Fenway Park, with my sister and her husband, to attend A Sip in the Park fundraiser, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. It was such a lovely evening supporting a great cause. On Saturday we hung home, and I finally watched Fifty Shades of Grey. Have you seen it yet? I have to admit, the movie was better than I thought it would be. I think my expectations were set really low, making it better than expected. On Sunday I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day! Mike took care of the twins in the morning so I got to sleep in, he brought me coffee in bed, served me lox and bagels for breakfast (my favorite), and then later in the afternoon we enjoyed drinks outside. The day was low key, relaxing, and perfect. Which brings me to my outfit, this coral dress is what I wore yesterday for Mother's Day. It was almost 90 degrees here in Boston, so I wanted to wear something light and feminine. I have to admit, initially I went searching in my closet for a floral dress, and realized I don't own one! I'll have to get on that stat! (If you have any great floral dress recommendations please let me know in the comments below). However, I found this coral dress and knew it would be perfect for Mother's Day. Not only is it bright and cheery, but it's lightweight and flowy making it easy to move in, and prefect for a hot day. I paired it with these wedges I found at Marshalls, which happen to be one of the most comfortable shoes I own. I have a feeling this outfit will be on major repeat this summer!
Dress: Luna (very similar here, loving this one here) Shoes: Kenneth Cole Reaction (found at Marshalls) in brown here, similar here// Bracelets: Vita Fede, Love From Venus// Necklace: Sarah Chloe// Sunnies: ChloƩ
Wishing everyone a great week ahead!
