Taking a Summer Dress From Day to Night

There is something that is so easy about throwing on a sundress during these warmer months, and with chasing two babies around, you all know that I love easy when in comes to getting dressed.  Along with rompers, the perfect sundress is one piece that you can just through on and be done.  I've already been finding myself living in sundresses this summer, and I'm obsessed with the blue hues and tropical print of this dress I'm wearing.  I styled it with a pair of gladiator sandals, which I found at Old Navy this past weekend for $19, and a wide brim hat for perfect daytime relaxed look.

The other thing I love about sundresses, is that they can easily be dressed up with with the right accessories.  Whenever Mike and I decide to go out to dinner, I don't have a lot of time to get ready with the twins, so a simple switch of shoes and handbag will usually do the trick.  All I did to make my outfit ready for a night out was change into high heels, switched out my bag for a clutch, and added a red lip.  It took me a total of five minutes and I was ready to go!

Look 1) Dress: Ceci Palm Beach Pop Up Shop (available soon)// Sandals: Old Navy// Sunnies: Karen Walker// Hat: old (similar here and here)// Fringe Bag: old (similar here and here)// Bracelets: Vita Fede, Love From Venus// Look 2) Heels: Steve Madden// Bag: Chanel

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Thank for stopping by!

  8. I love this floral halter little number Rachel and the bohemian flair you gave to the daytime look. Cute sandals and hat. The second outfit is sleek and chic. I recently wore a little floral mini halter dress for a date also. I blogged it last Friday. =)

    Enjoy your day, beautiful!
