Coral Maxi Dress: A Fourth of July Look

It's Wednesday, which means we're almost to the holiday weekend!  Does everyone have fun plans for the fourth?  Our weekend will be pretty low key, but we will spend some time at the lake, so here's to hoping I finally get some color.  Of course, since I'll be chasing two toddlers around, I'm not going to get my hopes up.  I also can't believe that the twins will literally be toddlers on Friday. AAHHH!  Time needs to slow down.  A few things about today's look:

First, I noticed that I have been wearing A LOT of blue lately.  If you look at my past posts or my Instagram account, you'll see that every two out of three outfits are mostly blue.  Not that this is a bad thing, especially coming from someone who mainly wears black, white and gray.  However, I decided I should try to add more color to my wardrobe.  And literally the next day, like magic, a new shipment arrived for the Ceci Palm Beach Pop Up Shop, and in it was this coral maxi dress.  It was calling my name!  I love the color, and think it will be perfect for the Fourth of July.

Second, I want to apologize that these photos are not the greatest quality.  If you read yesterday's post, you know I didn't have any time to take blog photos this past weekend.  With Mike being my photographer, and his busy work and grad school schedule, we haven't had time to take any this week either.  I really wanted to share some Fourth of July looks on the blog this week, so decided to try out my trusty tripod and see if I could take them myself.  Let's just say, I really need to take a photography class.

Thirdly, I love these polka dotted sunglasses.  There is something about the white frames that are very fun for summertime.  Sunglasses are usually items that I invest in, as I wear them to death, but every so often I like to buy a pair on that's a little more fun and won't break the bank.  I found these at Target for $14 and they are now on sale for $11.99!  Not to mention, they are the perfect sunglasses to take to the lake, so I don't have to worry if I accidentally lose them in the water.  Although, I would be quite sad if that happened.
