Dressing Down a LBD

As every woman should know, a classic little black dress is a must have in their closet.  It's probably the most versatile piece of clothing that a woman can own, and one that can be worn time again.  The fit and flare cut of  the LBD is probably my favorite, as it is classic and can be styled many different ways.  I've worn this dress several times before, including dressed up for wedding, with OTK boots for a girls night out, and this past weekend I paired it with flats for a casual family gathering to celebrate and remember the life of my great uncle.  Because it was raining this past Saturday, I wore my favorite spring anorak, and finished my look with a red lip to add bit of sophistication.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  We had a nice time in the mountains, however, Saturday Mason woke up with a fever again.  The only thing that makes him happy is to be held, so I haven't been able to get much done.  Let's hope he kicks this fever soon, poor guy.  Thank you for stopping by!
