Navy Shift Dress + WW Link Up

Happy FriYay!  Does everyone have fun plans for the weekend?  I'm on my own with the twins, as Mike will be in LA, so I'll have my hands full.  Since the weekend is suppose to be beautiful, I'm taking the boys up to the lake so we can enjoy the little bit of summer that we have left on the water.  Then on Monday we head to Cape Cod.  I'm really excited to go since we never made it to the Cape last summer, and I think the boys will love it there.  We'll be on the Cape until Thursday, and just an FYI, the place were we stay has really poor cell service, and extremely slow internet, so if I'm a little quiet on the blog front, you'll know why!

Now onto my look because I am obsessing over this mod shift dress.  I really didn't mean to have such a fall inspired post when we're all still melting in the summer heat, but when I got this dress, I had to share it right away.  I love the shift style because it's very easy to wear, and super comfortable as no part is too tight or clingy.  However it's the bell sleeves and open back detail that sold me.   I paired it with my new open toe booties, which I can't stop wearing (sorry), and finished my look with this denim stripe mini satchel.  Is this not the cutest bag?  I love how the stripes add a fun touch to the navy dress, and decided to kept my jewelry simple making the bag the focal point of my look.

Although this dress and bootie combo makes a great fall look, I also feel this dress is ideal for a cool summer's night.  I will definitely be packing it for the Cape, as it's the perfect piece for throwing on with sandals for cocktails on the porch.

There are three feature bloggers this week, as there was another tie for the most clicked!  I'm featuring Alison from Get Your Pretty On.  I'm loving how she dressed up her blush top and jeans with a statement necklace and heels.  A perfect look for transitioning into fall!  Make sure to visit her blog and say hello, and stop by Sheree and Melissa's blogs to see who else is featured.
