Dressing Up An Open Shoulder Sweater + WW Link Up

Happy Friday, and holiday weekend!  Since we celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah in our household, my family has a busy weekend ahead of us.  We'll be spending Christmas day at the lake with family, then the day after we head up north to Killington, VT to have our Hanukkah celebration.  We'll be in Killington for a few days, so I'm excited for our mini vacation.  Because I'll pretty much be partying non stop through Wednesday, I'm looking forward to a quiet Christmas Eve at home with the hubby while we eat Chinese food, watch Christmas movies, and try to assemble all of the twins toys.

Today I'm sharing a look that is perfect for a holiday party.  What I love most about this look, is the fact that I'm wearing a sweater that is both dressy and cozy.  I've mentioned numerous times on this blog how I am always cold, so being able to wear a sweater to a holiday party, or event, is a big plus.  Lately I've been finding so many fun sweaters that are party perfect (like this one here), and this cold shoulder sweater makes a great option.  The open shoulder cut is both interesting and sexy, while the sweater material is still warm and cozy.  Although I will definitely be wearing this sweater on a daily basis with jeans,  I love how easily it dresses up when paired with a black skirt and over-the-knee boots.  To take the look up a notch (after all, I am styling it for a party) I finished my look with a statement necklace.  I was debating on whether I should wear a necklace, or let my shoulders be the statement, but decided that you can never overdo it for a holiday or NYE party!

I wish everyone a wonderful holiday, and just want to tell you how thankful I am for each and every one of you!  The fact that you take time out of your day to visit my little space on the Internet means the world to me.  I can't wait to share the rest of my 2016 looks with you, and am excited to share some wonderful things coming in the new year.
