White Oversized Blazer For The Holidays

Once again, another weekend bites the dust.  Did everyone have a good one?  Mine was mostly spent on the couch taking care of two sick boys.  After a Friday night visit to the doctor's office, we concluded that they both just have colds, but you would think it was something worse by their level of crankiness.  Boys.  Thank goodness I had plenty of wine to help me through the whining.  Honestly though, there is nothing worse than when your kids aren't feeling well, and hopefully these colds will be gone soon.   I did manage to get out Sunday to take some blog photos, and attend a little blogger gathering and brunch the Alexis Bittar store on Newbury street.  The winter collection is gorgeous!  If you're still looking for a perfect gift, and thinking jewelry, I highly recommend Alexis Bittar.  I'm personally obsessed with this collar necklace and these fringe earrings.

This is actually the look that I wore to the blogger brunch yesterday.  Oversized blazers have forever been a staple in my closet, but I only recently added this white blazer, thinking it was perfect for the holidays.   There is something about a white blazer or jacket that can easily dress up an outfit, and make you look polished whether you are wearing a formal dress or a pair of ripped jeans.  I chose to pair it with black high rise jeans and a silk camisole for a relaxed, yet put together look, that was perfect for brunch. (This would also be a great option for a less formal holiday party).  This is by far my favorite camisole in my closet.   Unfortunately, I think it's sold out in the blush, but it does comes in black and red, which is perfect for the holidays.  It is also 20%, but hurry, the sale ends 12/11!  I finished my look with layered gold necklaces and my studded heels, which are back in stock!
