Stitch Fix Review #5

New year, new Stitch Fix box!  It was fun to start the year off with new clothes delivered right to my doorstep.   This was my fifth fix, and I love it just as much as my first one.  This month's box included a pair of black jeans (that I'll be sharing on Friday), a plaid shirt, hoop earrings, a snake print pencil skirt, and a cold shoulder blouse, which I'm sharing today.  I mean, could my stylist have been more spot on with this top?  Not only is the color beautiful, but I love the cut out detailing and slightly draped sleeves.  I decided to pair it with the printed pencil skirt for a dressier look, and finish my outfit with a leather jacket and booties, adding a little edge.

I honestly loved all five items in my box, but because I'm on a budget and could only keep one, I chose the cold shoulder blouse (obviously).  I've really had the best luck with Stitch Fix, and you can read my tips for always getting a perfect box here.  You can also read more of my Stitch Fix reviews here and here.

If you're unfamiliar with Stitch Fixit is a clothing subscription service where items are picked out based upon your style preferences, and delivered right to your door step.  Upon signing up, you are asked questions about your style, then assigned a stylist who picks out five items per shipment to send you.  You have three days to try on the clothes and decide what you want to keep or send back. This is the best part about the service, since you are able to do this in the comfort of your own home. You simply keep what you want, and send the rest back in the prepaid shipping bag that is provided. There is a styling fee with each box of $20, however, if you decide to purchase items from your box, then the $20 is put towards your purchase.  If you decide to keep all 5 items, then you get a 25% discount!

  3. All these pieces really are perfect on you! I like the boldness of the skirt, but I think the top was the right choice as you'll get more wear from it.

  12. I have heard great things about Stich Fix and have been wanting to give it a try. I am always scared that I won't like anything and still have to pay money to return it all. I absolutely love that top though.
