Spring Jacket With Stitch Fix + WW Link Up

This week the blog has been all about spring must haves.  So far I've shared floral dresses, denim jackets, and stripe off-the-shoulder tops.   Today's must have is the perfect spring coat, and in my opinion, there are two every woman should have in her closet.  A suede (or leather) moto jacket, and a classic trench coat.  Not only do they provide the perfect amount of warmth on a spring day, but they both look great with jeans or dresses.  I love the edgy vibe that a moto jacket adds to a look, while a trench is the perfect classic, and can can make any outfit appear put together.  Not to mention, most trench coats protect you against those April showers.

The faux suede moto jacket that I'm wearing was included in my most recent Stitch Fix shipment. Not only do I love the moto cut, but it's the perfect weight for spring, and I love how it gave my jeans and tank a little edge.  The jeans that I am wearing were also included in my Stitch Fix box, along with the floral dress from Monday's post, a little black tank, and a gold necklace.  I have to admit that once again, my stylist nailed it with my style.  I was happy with all five items in my box.  However, since I only allow myself to keep one item each month, I decided to go with the jeans.  I kind of shocked myself by choosing the jeans, because if I'm being honest, I'm a bit of a denim snob.  Besides owning a couple pairs of Blank Denim, all my jeans are designer brands (contemporary labels) and I'm very picky with how they fit.  However, these Cut From The Cloth Jeans were exactly what I was looking for, and you can't beat the price at $88.  I love the light wash, the frayed hems, and they are a high rise, which is all I wear these days.  They do have a good amount of stretch in them, which makes them super comfortable.  However, if you normally don't like a lot of stretch in your jeans, then this pair is not for you.  For me, they are the perfect jean to for chasing twin toddlers around all day, and playing at the park, while looking stylish.  If you're looking for this exact pair, you can get them from Stitch Fix or I linked the same cut, with slightly different washes below.

If you're unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it's a clothing subscription service, where items are picked out based upon your style preferences and delivered right to your doorstep.  You can read more about the shopping service here.  You can also check out my past two Stitch Fix reviews here and here.

Breaking out my old Dior mini saddle bag.  I was debating whether I should keep it, as it's just been sitting in my closet collecting dust.  Not only is the bag on the small side, but the strap that comes with it is super short, making it hard to wear.  While I was staring at the bag trying to decide what I wanted to do with it, I kept thinking that it would look cute as a cross body.  So it turned it into one!  I took a chain strap off another bag, and voila!  Total Sex and the City vibes.  Although they don't make this bag anymore, you can find some on The Real Real, and most are under $150.
