Mother's Day With Stitch Fix

Happy May! Is anyone else in disbelief that we're already in the fifth month of the year? Although I feel like time is passing by a little TOO fast lately, May happens to be one of my favorite months, and I'm happy that we're finally experiencing some beautiful weather here in New England.  I'm also looking forward to all of the holidays this month, including Mother's Day, which happens to be only a week away!  Do you all know what you're getting for the special women in your life?  If you're still looking for a great gift idea, then I highly suggest a Stitch Fix Gift Card.  If you have been following this blog for a while, then you know I am a huge fan of the personal styling service, and recommend it for everyone (yes, it even makes a great Father's Day gift idea). You can purchase the gift cards at different denominations starting at $20, and you have the choice of getting it mailed to you, or printing it on your own. (Perfect for those of us who wait until the last minute to do our shopping!)

This floral print top (by Skies Are Blue) is from my latest Stitch Fix shipment.  You all know that I'm a sucker for all things off-the-shoulder, so when I saw this top in my Fix, I knew it would be a keeper.  Not only do I love the floral print, but the lace detailing and slight peplum style add a pretty and feminine feel.  I paired it with my favorite distressed denim (under $50), and heeled sandals for a date night with Mike last weekend.  If you don't own these heels, I highly suggest them!  They're the most comfortable pair of heels that I own (I can dance all night in them at weddings), and they come in multiple colors.

This top ended up being the only item I kept from my Fix this month.  I did do a Stitch Fix try on session on my Insta Stories, so if you would like to see what else came in my Fix, head over to my Instagram, and you'll see everything under the Stitch Fix highlights.

If you're unfamiliar with Stitch Fixit is a personal styling service where items are picked out based upon your style preferences, and delivered right to your door step.  Upon signing up, you are asked questions about your style, then assigned a stylist who picks out five items per shipment to send you.  You have three days to try on the clothes and decide what you want to keep or send back. This is the best part about the service, since you are able to do this in the comfort of your own home. You simply keep what you want, and send the rest back in the prepaid shipping bag that is provided. There is a styling fee with each box of $20, however, if you decide to purchase items from your box, then the $20 is put towards your purchase.  If you decide to keep all 5 items, then you get a 25% discount! And it's for everyone.  Stitch Fix carries women sizes from XS-3X, men's, petite and maternity!

  10. Such a beautiful OTS top! I just love Stitch Fix. I'm getting a box before we go away to Mexico, asked for some warm weather and tropical clothes in it!! I also love the add ons that you can add to your box. I didn't know they did gift cards! I'll have to tell my husband! :)
