Chunky Knit Cardigan

Hi Friends!  I can't believe that we're half way through January, and this is my first post of the year.  In fact, I think this is the longest that I have ever gone without posting since starting this blog five years ago!  I have to admit, that this break wasn't necessarily intentional.  Between the busyness of the new year, and taking time to sit down and really evaluate the direction that I want to take Threads for Thomas, time got away.  I'll be sharing a post on my goals for the blog, and what you can expect for 2019 (and why I decided to take a break from the link up) soon, but for now I sharing something that I've been loving this month, and that is this chunky knit cardigan.

If you know me, you know I'm a big fan of cardigans, and the chunkier the better.  This one from Chicwish is one that I've been reaching for on a daily basis.  It's so easy to throw on over any outfit when you need an extra layer of warmth, and it's so cozy.  I've been pairing it with everything from jogger pants to jeans, but it's also the perfect sweater to layer over a dress.  I just love how the cable knit detail adds a classic touch to the sweater, while the oversized fit makes it super cozy.  Do you have a sweater or item of clothing that you've been living in this winter?
