The Perfect Holiday Sweater

Can you believe Thanksgiving is only a week away?  More importantly, do you know what you're wearing? If your answer is no, don't worry, I've got a little holiday outfit inspiration coming your way!  One of my favorite things to wear during the holidays is a dressy sweater.  Not only do they keep you warm, but they look great paired with both jeans and skirts.  Plus, if they're long enough, you can wear them with leggings!

This Chicwish sweater is the perfect example.  The eyelet detailing and puff sleeves add a dressier feel, making it a great option for both Thanksgiving or a holiday party.  You can pair it with jeans and a heel for a casual, yet put together outfit, or dress it up with a skirt.  Here, I'm showing you both!  My black coated denim makes the look a little more relaxed, while the velvet skirt adds a dressier, feminine feel.

Which do you prefer for Thanksgiving, dressing up or keeping it casual?

  4. Such a cute sweater, Rachael! I love it paired with the pretty pink velvet skirt. The soft muted tones work so well together. But it looks equally cool with black jeans. Great styling options! Thanks for linking up. I hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving!
