White After Labor Day

The first rule in fashion, is that there are no rules.  As many abide by the no white after labor day code, I am a firm believer that if it still feels like summer, then white is fair game.  If I'm traveling to a warm climate in the middle of January, I always pack my white jeans and little white dresses.  However, with it being September there are ways to transition your whites to work for fall.  Here, I simply added an ankle boot and a beige blazer.  I love the look of whites with neutral tones, and adding items that are a few shades darker, or pairing them with black, is a great way to wear them into the fall.  If it was a little cooler out, a chunky beige sweater would also be great option.  When winter arrives, I do like to trade in my whites for an off-white shade or Winter White.
