Happy Friday everyone!  I'm still running around like a mad women trying to get everything done for the twins' first birthday party tomorrow.  The list never ends!  Since I've been non stop, this week has been all about comfort (okay, everyday is about comfort for me lately).  However, I still want to look put together while getting everything set for this party.  Along with my hectic schedule, it has been hot and humid, so a comfy tank dress was my go-to this week, and no one makes a comfier dress than Feel The Piece.  Their tops and dresses are always so soft, and I love how this one has the high-low hem.  It adds a little edge to the otherwise classic style, which I always look for when adding pieces to my wardrobe.  Because this is a low cut dress, and I didn't want to be flashing my girls during meetings, or to the cashiers at Costco, I added this stripe H&M crop top over the dress which gave it a skirt and top look.  I bought this top last fall, and it has been the perfect layering piece.  I love how layering a shirt or jacket over an item can instantly change it's look and make an older item feel fresh again.  Although I've worn both these pieces separately on the blog before, pairing them together felt like I had a brand new outfit.  I finished the look with my new fringe sandals from H&M, which I'm not only obsessed with, but they are actually really comfortable.  Plus they are a great alternative to the Chloé fringe sandals I've been eyeing but haven't wanted to splurge on.

Dress: Feel The Piece (similar herehere, and loving this stripe one here)// Top: H&M (old Similar herehere and here)// Shoes: H&M// Sunnies: Chloé// Bag: Louis Vuitton// Bracelets: Vita FedeScrew Cuff

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  To keep updated with the twins' party, you can follow along on Instagram @thomasrachael or Snapchat @Rach480.  Thank you for stopping by.

It's funny... I was surfing blogs this morning and I found yours via Style Elixir and I though 'She's cool, I'm going to ask her to share at my link party... and then I saw that you already had! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Oh Rachel what a cool outfit this is. Fun LBD. I recognized that H&M Top right away. I wish I bought it. Between the sandals and the dress, that top is a perfect mix and layering piece. Your legs are hot, also.

Have a fabulous weekend! <3 Ada.

  6. Hope you had a great party! This is such a great look. It's funny because I don't think of your looks as being all about comfort. You must pull of comfort and chic well. Those sandals are so good!
