Black Jacket, Grey Slit Dress

I know I'm not being very original by wearing this dress, as I have seen it on a couple of different bloggers, but I love it so much I had to add it to my wardrobe.  I love the longer length, slits up the legs, and above most, I love the cut out details at the midriff.  It's like they were strategically placed for my body and hit me in the most flattering place: low enough to cover the girls, and high enough to hide the post baby fat.  I know the dress is a little on the summery side, but just add a leather jacket and a pair of booties and you're good for the fall.  Don't be surprised if you see me wearing it this winter layered over a turtleneck and a pair of over the knee boots!

With that I would just like to mention that style bloggers are my largest inspiration when it comes to fashion.  Yes, I am reading magazines, watching celebrities, and skimming Vogue.com on a daily basis, but most of my looks are inspired by other bloggers.  I love how style bloggers bring a level of realness to outfits, and show looks that are more accessible to everyone.  And although you will see many bloggers wearing similar "it" pieces, it's how they style them and make them their own that I love watching, and is very inspiring.  I only hope to inspire you in the same way with this blog.

I can't mention enough how happy I have been with my Rocksbox subscription.  In case you're not familiar with Rocksbox, it's a monthly jewelry subscription where you can rent designer jewelry for just $19/month.  It includes brands such as Gorjana, Kendra Scott, Loren Hope, and I am obsessed with the Perry Street earrings and Sophie Harper necklace that I'm wearing in these photos.  You're box includes three pieces of jewelry for rent,  and you're able to switch them out anytime.  If you really fall in love with the jewelry, you have the option to purchase it at a discounted price.  I highly suggest signing up for Rocksbox if you're a jewelry lover, because you won't be disappointed.  You can get your first month free by using my code: thomasrachaelxoxo, and if you're unhappy with it, you can cancel any time.  But hurry, this is the last week that my code is available, so make sure to sign up by the 20th!  You can learn more about Rocksbox and read my reviews here and  here.
