Donald J Pliner Slides + A Link Up

Happy Tuesday friends.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was filled with friends, family, and much needed me time.  On Saturday I got to celebrate my best friend's soon to be baby boy, as I attended her sprinkle, then on Sunday Mike took the twins out for boy time, which left me with the whole morning to myself.  It was gorgeous here on Sunday, so we made sure to get some family time outside in the afternoon, followed by dinner and drinks....well, milk for the twins. Now, it's back to the grind!

I'm excited for today's post for two reasons.  First, because I get to share with you my favorite pair of spring shoes (no lie, I am seriously obsessed with these slides) and second, because I am hosting a link up with Jessica from J Petite.  We are showing you how to style white jeans, so make sure to check out her blog, and link up below.

Now back to my shoes.  When Donald J Pliner ask me to be part of their #ArtOfFun campaign, I didn't hesitate to join in.  I have been a fan of the luxury footwear brand for a while, but it only took me a few seconds of looking at their spring/summer collection to really fall in love.  These Fairy Embellish Sandals were first to catch my eye.  I had been wanting to add a pair of slides to my wardrobe this spring, and the insect embellished detail not only makes them super fun, but I love the dressy feel it adds to the shoe.  Not to mention, they are the most comfortable pair of sandals that I own.  For my look, I decided to stick with a black and white theme by pairing my slides with my white skinny jeans, and a gingham blouse.  Just like my shoes, this blouse is classic with the gingham print, yet the billowing sleeves take it up a notch and add a playful touch.  These shoes were my ideal pick for this campaign, because I believe it's about fashion being fun.  I'm not one to wear bold colors or wild prints, so the embellishment adds the perfect statement.  Classic, yet a little edgy, and a lot fun.

My favorite thing about these slides is that they can we worn with everything.  From bathing suits and jean shorts, to dress pants and dresses, I'll be living in them this summer.  But I probably won't stop with this pair, as I also have my eye on these woven heeled sandals.  I'd love to hear, what is your favorite pick from the Donald J Pliner spring/summer line?
