Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?  It's my all time favorite holiday, and to say that I'm excited is an understatement.  Bring on the stuffing and apple pie!  Which brings me to the task of finding the perfect outfit.  Because I tend to over indulge on the holiday, finding an outfit that is both cute and comfortable is key.  Since we'll be at the lake this year, and our Thanksgiving dinners are on the casual side, I'm thinking that a cute sweater is the way to go.  This ruffle sleeve chenille one couldn't be more perfect!  The burgundy color makes it festive for Thanksgiving, and the ruffled sleeves add a fun touch.

Because I want to be casual, yet still look put together, I'll most likely be wearing black jeans.  I love how a high rise solid black jean can give off a dressier feel.  Plus, I find the high rise cut to be both comfortable, and super flattering, as they suck everything in!  If you'd rather wear an elastic waistband, then I suggest swapping the jeans out for these leggings, which I can't stop wearing lately.  I thought that finishing with a leopard pump would add a fun pop of print, and love the block heel on this pair.  If you don't want to wear a heel, choose a leopard flat or bootie instead.

What I love about this ruffle sleeve sweater, is that is can easily be dressed up.  If your Thanksgiving dinner is more formal, swap out the jeans for pleated midi skirt, and finish your look with a high heel or over-the-knee boot.  For a little extra coziness, wrap yourself up in a plaid scarf.
