Easy Thanksgiving Day Look

The countdown is on.  My favorite holiday is less than a week away, and in addition to planning the pies that I'm going to bake, I've been racking my brain with what I'm going to wear.  Being comfortable is key, but of course I want my outfit to be cute and look put together.  I recently got this dress from Charming Charlie, and after trying it on, I realized it would make a perfect option for Thanksgiving Day.  Not only is the trapeze style super cute (and comfy), but the flowey cut will allow me to eat all the food I want, while hiding the food baby!  For extra warmth (because you know I'm always cold), I paired it with a faux fur vest.  I love how it gave the dress a little more shape, while adding a fun texture and a cozy feel (a chunky cardigan would also be a great option).  If you follow my Insta Stories, then you know that this is the fur vest that I found on Gilt for half the price, and I can see myself wearing it throughout the holiday season.

Without the extra layer, I found this dress to be a little shapeless, so I added a belt to make it more flattering.  I finished my look with OTK boots, which are my go-to when wearing dresses in the winter, as they add extra warmth.  When the temperatures drop even more, I'll add tights to finish this look, or I can see myself pairing it with a pair of faux leather leggings.
