I have to admit, I've been living in this striped tee shirt dress.  I usually end up wearing it 2-3 times a week, as it's not only adorable, but easy to throw on, making getting dressed simple.  It's been perfect for the hot and humid weather we've been having here in Boston, and you can't beat the price at $11.  Yes, you heard me correct, $11!

Now that it's September and cooler days are ahead (hopefully), it doesn't mean that I'll be putting this dress away.  In fact, I'm excited to style it for the fall.  Below, I'm sharing how you can wear it now, and three different styling options that will take this dress far into the cooler months.

One Dress, Four Ways

First, this has been my go-to outfit as of late.  I just pair it with white sandals, and I'm ready for the day!

Now that it's September, I want my outfits to have a fall feel.  However, with temperatures still in the 80's it's a little too hot to wear layers.  An easy, and "cool" way to transition this outfit without sweating, is to style it with booties.  Booties can instantly add a fall vibe to any summer dress, and I'm loving the western feel of this Vince Camuto pair.  They're available in  4 colors, and are currently 40% off!  I finished my look by tying a chambray shirt around my waist.  It's a great way to add a layer, without actually having to wear it.  When it does get a bit cooler, the chambray will be perfect layered over the dress.

Another fun way to wear this dress, is to style it as a top!  I just knotted the front, threw on my favorite pair of jeans and booties, and I instantly had a new look.  When the weather cools off, I can add a cardigan or leather jacket for added warmth.

Leather jackets are a staple in my fall wardrobe, and I love this faux leather option by Blank NYC.  It has a removable hoodie, which gives the jacket two different looks.  It also comes in a green and mushroom color, and is a great option for under $100.  It instantly gives the dress a fall feel.  And, of course, when the temps cool off, I will throw on a pair of tights to finish this look!
