5 Best Beauty/Health Finds

Happy 2020 friends!  To kick off my first Rachael's Radar of the year, I thought I'd share some of the beauty and health products that I've been using for a while, and absolutely love!

1. Gimme Beauty Hair Ties: These hair ties are the best! I was introduced to them by another blogger, and they've since become my favorite.  Not only do they have a strong hold, but they don't slip, leave kinks, or snag the hair.  They come in different sizes to support different hair types, and a few color options to match your hair.  I started with the Fitting Kit to try them out, and now mostly use the thick size hair bands and any sized hair bands.

2. Tinkle Razors: After hearing many great reviews about these tiny facial razors, I decided to give them a try myself.  All I can say is, why didn't I try them sooner?!  They easily remove any peach fuzz that's on the face, leaving the skin smooth and silky.  Plus, they're great for the removing hair from the upper lip and around the eyebrows.  An added bonus is they also help to remove dead skin cells.  By shaving off the dead skin (similar to exfoliating), your skin care and anti-aging products are able to seep deeper into your skin, thus helping them to work better.

3. Dr. Brandt No More Baggage:  I have to be honest, when I first used this product, I wasn't very impressed.  After a couple weeks of use, and not seeing the magnificent results that it claimed to have, I tossed it aside for my beloved SeneGence eye cream.  Fast forward a year later when I heard one of my favorite blogger rave about how this is a great product for de-puffing under the eye, I decided to give it another try, and was surprised to see how well it worked.  When I was previously using the product, I was getting plenty of sleep, which means my eyes were well rested and in not need of removing any baggage or puffiness.  Lately, with trouble sleeping, my eyes are pretty swollen when I wake up, and this product was been a miracle worker.

4. Thieve Roller: A year ago, when my son (then 4yo) was diagnosed with a chronic illness, I decided I wanted to try some essential oils, especially Thieves oil, which I had heard great things about.  Thieves is said to boost the immune system, can act as an antimicrobial, and promote cardiovascular and respiratory health.  When put in a roller with a carrier oil, you can rub this on certain parts of the body, to help support the immune system.  Since September, I have been consistently rubbing this on the bottoms of both mine, and the twins feet before bed, and so for (knock on wood) we have not been sick this school year.  In fact, my husband ended up getting the flu, and none of us caught it from him.  Coincidence? Perhaps.  But I'll keep on using it and see how the rest of the school year goes!

5. Hask Dry Shampoo:  I know I've raved about this dry shampoo in the past, but wanted to share it again as it's still my favorite drug store find.  Not only does this dry shampoo work just as well (if not better) than my high end ones, but the coconut scent smells so good!  Now, I've only used the coconut formula, so I can't speak for how the other Hask dry shampoo options work, but if they're anything like this one, then they've got to be good!

I'd love to know, what are some of your go-to beauty products?  Let me know in the comments!

XO Rachael
