Take me back to the paradise city.....
That's how I feel about West Palm Beach, a paradise city, especially since today is the first day of spring and the high will be 35 degrees. I miss the warm weather, blue skies, green grass, and palm trees. Soon enough, hopefully. Today I am sharing the last set of photos taken from my trip to Florida. This outfit pretty much sums up my summer uniform: jean shorts and a tank top. I love cut off jean shorts, as you can wear pretty much anything with them, and this tank is my favorite in my closet right now. Not only is it a great basic, but the slit in the back adds a little sexiness, so I can dress it up for nighttime. The best part, although it looks silky, it is actually made of polyester, which means it's machine washable. Not that I love polyester, but when you have two babies and are constantly spit up on, it's a win to be able to throw it in the washing machine! Navy is also one of my favorite colors in the summer, as I love pairing it with light colored denim and gold accessories.
On a serious note, did you all get the chance to read my blog yesterday about suicide awareness? Although, I like to keep this blog a happy place, real life happens, and the best way to get through a tragedy is to talk about it. If you missed it, you can read my story here. These photos were taken at my father's house. It was weird being back there without him, but we enjoyed our time with the family, and still consider it such a happy place.
