Yesterday I did something I thought I would never do: I wore a dress over jeans, and I loved it! Although I've seen this look numerous times, it's never been quite my style. It must be my spring obsession with everything 70's that made me try it, as it does have that decade feel with the flare bottoms. I wore this look to my niece's fourth birthday party. She, and six of her girlfriends had a spa day, and it was the cutest thing ever. They were treated to hair, nails and face paining, and of course they all went with the Elsa braid. Before leaving the house for the party, I was debating between wearing these flare jeans or a pair of gray skinnies. The gray pair won. Since it was only 30 degrees out, I thought the gray pair felt more weather appropriate. At the party, I couldn't stop thinking about my white flares, so what did I do, changed into them when I got home, of course! I have a feeling I'll be wearing this look again this spring, as I have learned, never say never.
